Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about custom packaging, materials, minimums and production.

What industries do you serve?

We manufacture custom packaging for apparel, bakery, beverage, candle, CBD, cosmetics, e-commerce, electronics, food, gift, medical, pet, retail and soap brands — and many niche products in between.

Can you create custom packaging for my product?

Yes. Every box is built around your product's dimensions, weight and fragility, with the structure, inserts, material and printing your brand needs.

What materials are available?

Choose from cardboard, corrugated, kraft, rigid board, paperboard, specialty cardstock and eco-friendly stocks, including FSC-certified and recycled options.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Our standard minimum is 100 units for most box styles. Rigid setup boxes and highly specialized structures may have a higher minimum.

Can I customize the size and printing?

Absolutely. Sizes are fully custom, and you can add full-color printing plus finishes like matte, gloss, soft touch, foil stamping, embossing and spot UV.

Do you provide samples?

Yes. Pre-production samples let you check material, print and structure before approving your run. Sample turnaround is typically 5-7 business days.

How quickly can you manufacture my packaging?

Standard production takes 8-10 business days after artwork approval (rigid and specialty boxes 10-12). Rush production is available; ask us for timing.

Can you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship custom packaging to brands worldwide. Delivery options and timelines depend on destination and order size, and are confirmed with your quote.

Custom Packaging Guide

The right box depends on what goes inside it. As a custom packaging manufacturer, Pro Packaging Line produces packaging for every use case — from custom product boxes and retail packaging to ecommerce mailers — designed around how your product is sold, shipped and displayed.

Cosmetic packaging

Beauty buyers judge with their eyes first. Our cosmetic packaging pairs slim folding cartons and rigid boxes with foil, embossing and soft-touch finishes.

Ecommerce packaging

Printed mailers and corrugated shippers protect orders in transit. Good ecommerce packaging also gives your customers a branded unboxing they remember.

Electronics & apparel packaging

Electronics packaging relies on rigid board and fitted inserts, while apparel packaging favors lightweight mailers and keepsake boxes.

What to look for in a packaging manufacturer

  • Custom printed packaging with accurate color and premium finishes
  • Flexible minimums — start from 100 custom packaging boxes
  • Material choice across cardboard, corrugated, kraft and rigid board
  • Reliable lead times, samples and dedicated support

Packaging Materials Guide

The material you choose decides how strong your box is, how your print looks, and how your packaging feels in a customer's hands. Pro Packaging Line makes custom boxes in six main materials, each available with full-color printing, finishes and inserts, starting from 100 boxes.

Which packaging materials can I choose from?

  • Corrugated board: layers of fluted board in E, B, C and double-wall grades. The strongest choice for shipping, mailers and heavy products.
  • Kraft: natural brown board with an earthy look that suits handmade, organic and sustainable brands. Available as kraft paperboard or kraft corrugated.
  • Cardboard (paperboard): a sturdy, printable board for folding cartons, round two-piece and drawer boxes.
  • Cardstock: a smooth, bright board that gives sharp, vivid print for cosmetics, supplements and retail cartons.
  • Paper: lightweight board for bakery, gable, pillow and folding boxes.
  • Rigid board: thick wrapped chipboard for luxury, reusable boxes such as magnetic, two-piece and drawer boxes.

What is the difference between cardboard and corrugated?

Cardboard (paperboard) is a single solid layer, ideal for retail cartons that sit on a shelf or travel inside a shipping box. Corrugated has a wavy fluted layer between liners, which makes it much stronger and better at absorbing knocks, so it is the right choice when the box itself ships to the customer.

Which material is best for luxury packaging?

Rigid board gives the most premium feel. It does not fold flat, keeps its shape, and pairs well with soft-touch lamination, foil stamping, embossing and spot UV. Many brands use rigid boxes for gifts, jewelry, cosmetics and PR kits.

Do you offer eco-friendly materials?

Yes. We offer FSC-certified board, recycled stocks, kraft, and compostable boxes, and we print with water-based or soy-based inks on request. Choosing a single recyclable material, without plastic windows or foam, makes your packaging easier for customers to recycle. Read our guide to eco-friendly packaging materials.

Can packaging be made food-safe?

Yes. We offer food-safe board and grease-resistant, moisture-resistant and leak-resistant coatings for bakery, takeout and confectionery packaging. Tell us how the food will be packed and stored when you request a quote.

Which finishes can I add?

Matte or gloss lamination, soft-touch lamination for a smooth, velvety feel, spot UV, foil stamping, and embossing or debossing. Our finishing guide explains when to use each one.

How do I choose?

Match the material to how the box travels and how premium it needs to feel. Our design team can send a sample, ready in 5 to 7 business days, so you can feel the material before your full run. Standard production then takes 8 to 10 business days, or 10 to 12 for rigid boxes. Request a free quote or message us on WhatsApp for a recommendation.
